REGISTRATION

Please fill in the conference registration form, which you can download by clicking on the link below, and send, fax, or email the completed form to the conference organisers. While it is possible to register on the day of the conference, earlier registration is strongly recommended, especially in the case of the overseas participants. Please note that we may not be able to provide accommodation or conference meals to all of the participants who register during the conference. If you have any further questions concerning registration procedures or methods of payment please contact the organisers.

While we do not have the deadline for conference registration as such, it is strongly recommended, especially in the case of the overseas participants, or those requiring help with accommodation, to register by the end of June. Please bear in mind that our university hotel is not very large and tends to fill up quickly. If we do not have the confirmation of your attendance we may not be able to find you a room on campus at a later date. Let me also remind you that free transportation to and from the airport is only available to those conference participants staying on campus or in its nearest vicinity. If we cannot find you a room on campus at a later date you might have to take care of the transportation to and from the airport by yourself.

If you are planning to pay your conference fee in person on the day of the conference we would appreciate it if you mentioned in on your registration form. The completed registration form is a confirmation of your interest in our conference and makes it easier to schedule your presentations.

Please inform the organisers if you are a vegetarian or if you require any special meals. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

CONFERENCE FEES:

OVERSEAS PARTICIPANTS: 50 USD

Conference fee is inclusive of the cost of transportation to and from the airport, conference registration, one-year membership of ACSA and the food and beverages served during the two conference days (2 lunches and 4 coffee breaks).

LOCAL PARTICIPANTS: 1500 BAHT

LOCAL STUDENTS: 1000 BAHT

AU LECTURERS PRESENTING A PAPER: 1000 BAHT

Conference fee is inclusive of the conference registration, one-year membership of ACSA and the food and beverages served during the two conference days (2 lunches and 4 coffee breaks).

Since our conference has a limited budget, we regret but we cannot offer our participants any financial help, with covering the costs of their transportation, accommodation and conference fees.  Should you wish to withdraw your paper from the conference due to financial reasons please inform the conference organisers as soon as possible.

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

Payment should be made to “Assumption University”

2. Credit Card

Please specify the type of Card (VISA, MASTER CARD etc.) the payment should be charged to and supply the following information: CARDHOLDER'S NAME, CARD NUMBER, EXP. DATE.

3. Money Transfer:

Total amount to be transferred to "Assumption University" Account No. 354-1-02188-8.

Bank of Ayutthaya Public Co., Ltd., Assumption University Rama IX – Srinakarin Branch, Thailand.

Receipt will be issued on the day of funds transfer.

At the moment, conference participants are expected to pay their conference fee by bank transfer or cheque, or have it charged to their credit card.  All the relevant details concerning the methods of payment are included on the registration form.  Conference participants are expected to cover all the prospective bank fees involved in the process.

After the consultation with the Office of Financial Management, we have decided to allow our participants to register and pay their conference fee on the first day of the conference. There will be no extra charge for late registration, we would, however, ask everyone willing to take advantage of this option to notify the organisers about their intention. Your email and completed registration form will serve as a confirmation of your interest in our conference.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONFERENCE:

We of course understand that personal matters may force some of our conference participants to withdraw their presentations from the conference. However, in the interest of the other participants, I would like to appeal to all of our presenters to inform the organisers about such decisions as soon as possible, preferably not later than by the beginning of July.

We would also like to remind you that we are willing to read the papers whose abstracts have already been accepted in the absence of the author, provided the author has officially registered and paid the conference fee. Should you wish to take us upon this offer, please send us your paper not later than by 25th July to allow us time to find a suitable reader.

If you have not been in touch with us since the time of submitting your conference abstract, we would appreciate it if you could email us and confirm your decision to participate in the conference. If we do not hear from you by the end of this month (31st July) we will assume you are no longer interested in joining us and we will remove your presentation from the conference programme.

In practice this means that if you do decide to join us after all we will still be very happy to listen to your presentation but your paper will be added to the conference programme during the event and your presentation will be scheduled for the afternoon session of the second conference day.
